I think i just bricked my new Eachine Falcon 250 pro (solved)

Hello all,

Im new to this forum and I signed up because I am pretty sure I just ruined my quad and was hoping that i could find some advice. I've had my Eachine Falcon 250 Pro for about a month now and I should mention that I am a complete noob to racing quads but have a good tech background and and thought I could upgrade to cleanflight. I have done so but cleanflight for the CC3D flight controller isnt really setup at all for flying. I am lost on how to get my quad back in the air and wish i never even tried this upgrade for tuning purposes. Is there any hope left for me or am i stuck with a $300 brick now? any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

i am also a newb so to speak.. will the drone arm?? Go back into cleanflight, and click motors tab. see if you can get them to spin.

I had a crash recently, and had to order a new FC from banggood. it didnt want to arm at all, until i set up my arm function to a switch( which i prefer)

I have a naze32 FC, and need to disconnect the OSD power before i can connect to cleanflight, or else it will hang up.
You do not have a $300 brick lol. if the bootloader is messed up, you can short the pins and re flash

Edit: does the leds still respond to the transmitter? left/right turn? brake lights??

Either go to Librapilot with your CC3D or Switch controllers to SP F3 . Its designed for Cleanflight.

The LEDs still work as far as the right stick is concerned. The left stick is where my problems are. I can't seem to get the motors to arm anymore like I used to (throttle stick down right.) I can get the motors to spin up in the motors tab of cleanflight. I actually just purchased a new cc3d from eBay that is supposedly setup for the Falcon so I may just install that and stick with OP for now since cleanflight doesn't seem to be helping me at all. Thanks for all of the quick responses.

So I installed the new FC and had to configure the quad and transmitter in Librepilot. I think I have it at a place where I can do a test flight now. I'm just worried that when I tilt my drone side to side, the LEDs are moving in the opposite direction. I also am worried that the self levelling mode will no longer will be enabled. Is there a way to make sure on flight mode 1 that auto levelling will be there? I have not flown without it yet as I am still new to all this.

Hello again,

So i just wanted to update u guys. Librepilot seems to be happy after calibrating my quad and transmitter, but my iA6 Receiver to CC3D wiring is all wrong and I can't for the life of me find the original wiring diagram (I know I should have taken a picture.) I know the wiring is wrong because nothing is acting properly on the quad. The LED's are not responding properly still, i cant seem to arm the quad anymore and the motors arent spinning up with my throttle stick. If anyone owns one of these Eachine Falcon Pro 250's with the original wiring can you please take a picture or just tell me the channel->color. It would really help me out in a big way.

So what was the solution?

Well, I had to get the correct wiring schematic for the newest cc3d fc to iA6 receiver, which I did get from the eBay seller that I bought this quad from. After that my turning\directional lights were back to normal. So I then put her all back together and when I and it and gave it some throttle it just flipped out like crazy. This was because since now that the cc3d is spun around on this new 'pro' model of the Falcon for easy access to the USB port, I found out that I needed to change the yaw offset to -90° and FINALLY she took off like the bird I originally had. I'll try and post the file which contains pictures of the correct wiring for all of the flight controllers that could possibly come with this quad. I hope someone could benefit from all my problems with this Falcon Pro 250. Just for the record, this thing flies great with a 4s strapped to it! Thanks for all the replies and help.

Happy flying!

Well done ! ... Glad you got it all sorted out, seems you're pretty adept at this already ... Next time some one
has a problem with an Eachine Falcon Pro 250 we're gonna send them your way ;)

Here are the wiring schematics for the falcon 250 pro's with whichever flight controller yours might come with to the receiver. Good luck

P.S. This file was incredibly hard to come by...so I how it helps someone. Happy flying

Glad it's fixed...
As am I...

I just bought an action cam off Amazon for 40 bucks that shoots at 1080p at 30fps. Even better it comes with all the accessories and mounts that you would ever need including a waterproof case. So not only am I back to flying, I am now filming my flights through a glorious 170° lens.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to post links to items on here but if I can I will. Do any of you guys know if it's against the forum rules to link an action cam from Amazon? I swear I don't work for them but this is just such a great deal and I want you guys to be able to own one of these killer action cams too.

Post away. Generally as long as no harm comes and you are not posting links to your product in an annoying way as your only purpose you are fine.
