FlySky doesn't work

I have a new Eachine Wizard X220 RTF with FlySky FS-i6. When I plugged the battery and turned FlySky on, I encountered it doesn't do anything. Initially I thought I did something wrong, and it seemed weird since it's ready-to-flight version and it should easily work. But it's my first drone and I wan't sure I did everything right so I started to google for different guides and similar issues.

After I followed all guides in the world and spent a solid day with it, I realised that the problem is FlySky itself. It doesn't work when I'm using it with FPV Freerider Simulator, nor in the Betaflight Configurator (tried different versions) — on the Receiver tab all switches are empty.

Also, Betaflight doesn't want to flash firmware — it says my bootloader doesn't respond.

Any thoughts how can I manage my FlySky to be working?

Sure it does, that's the setup I use on Win 7. Did you purchase the correct cable?

Have you looked at the manual?

Which step does it fail at when trying to flash the bootloader? Does the led go on as indicated in the instructions did you do the full chip erase and flash on boot options? Regarding the receiver tab you'll need to be sure the serial rx is turned on for the correct port and that then check that the configuration tab has the correct protocol used for the receiver (sbus, spektrum1024, etc) . Once the ports and config tab have correct values and have been saved (save each tab after changes) then you should see some sort of input on the receiver tab.

It didn't want to flash when I pressed "Flash Firmware". So I chosen slower baud rate and connected BOOT contacts, then it started to flash after several attempts. Not sure about LED, don't remember. Yes, I did the full chip erase.

Yep, after I connected transmitter with receiver it began to work but only with AFHDS 2A & PPM output set off. Actually I followed this guide

but it's Russian and they are very similar except he used IBUS and set few values differently in Betaflight.
