They are not counting the flights with less than 5 minute flight time.
If you flew it until the battery was too weak to bring it back in, then unfortunately it is your fault. I have had 2 good dealings with DJI repair.
Both issues were my fault. Here is a pic one of mine that was fixed.

May I ask what was your assumption based on? Less than 5 minute flight doesn't count.
I did bring back my drone in low battery while I still didn't receive any reply after I sent an email requesting the return of my drone.
I guess it's my fault to choose DJI in the beginning.
