Have you tried either the motor slider in betaflight or plugging the receiver directly into the ESC? It might not be arming for some reason (for example throttle input not showing zero, or some other safety).

Is there any way you can see how many timing signals that the GPS is seeing? It should just not take off or not enable GPS if it doesn't have a signal. A quick google search showed that the C-Fly app is supposed to have better stability than the Enjoy-fly app, so that might be your problem...

Did you happen to get any log data? If it's in GPS mode, I'd bet some type of loss of signal. If it didn't work one time, I'd guess that you might have issues with how your controls from the receiver are mapped in the flight controller.
