cc3d wont fly

I chose a way to arm it and it did nothing the light on the receiver only blinks when i change flight modes. (i updated my transmitters name)

During your set up in GCS (OpenPilot? LibrePilot? Other?) did you go through the transmitter setup wizard?
Do all your motors react and spin up during the calibration?
Did you go to the arm/disarm page and select an arming method? (Typically, I use the Yaw-Right to arm with NO spin up)
At that point, did you save your settings?
Also, are you using the right protocols for your receiver? (PWM? CPPM?)
There are many possible reasons you're not able to fly. But I would lean toward a missed step in GCS or failure to save after each setting.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't need one it has a 2 position switch under flight modes I selected 2 position switch
As was said why limit yourself to 2? There is a workaround for that old tech radio you bought using 2 switches in combo to get all the flight modes that are available.

Here's a rundown on the flight modes.
