i have found this quadcopter for just 120$ what do you think?

thanks in advance

As the others said above, in order to gain experience with it, you have to play with it and don't be afraid of crashing it. Usually they don't break with a single fall. Also, it's not that expensive, so don't worry if you end up smashing it. Now I'm thinking getting one for myself.

hi am dentman
i recently purchased a syma x5c quadcopter
i have been flying it for a little over a week
battery shows after charging 4.29
now it wont get off the ground
also one motor not turning
can the battery be the problem?
i ordered new batteries
can anyone help me

check to see if the prop is tight on the drive shaft they come loose if you run them into a tree or other things. I would not recommend the Syma as the motors seem to wear out very fast as has happened on my wifes XC5-1...

Too new for spare parts but you shouldn't need any for a while. If it sells there will be cheap parts in a couple months.
Search Banggood for JJRC H8D, that's 6 month old & every part is available. Be a pioneer hero & buy one, then report back.
For brushless motors $120 is a bargain.

The JJRC X11 is getting good reviews over ay rcgroups.com but it's not being recommended for beginners. A better beginner quad is the Syma X5C-1 or maybe one of it's many clones. The x5c-1 is very reasonably priced and parts are not problem and are also reasonable. I have a x5c-1 and I can attest to it being a great quad for a beginner. Another good choice for flying inside when the weather outside doesn't suit flykng is the Syma X11, that's my indoor flier. It will also work with the x5c-1 transmitter.

It flys like crap, got a weird yaw on it. Both lazy and then wonky at the higher rate. Many ~$25 quads fly much better. And why do you have to jump through hoops to get the props to stop spinning?

Thanks for the advise
I ll check out the props

If one motor isn't turning you could have a bad motor, if it turns as free as the other 3 it's also possible it has a bad solder connection on the flight controller board or possibly the motor or a broken wire. If the solder joints look okay check the wire with an ohms meter.

No Gramps, all the props are turning and the bat volt is 4.2 like it's suppose to. Do you have the Max Thrust turned down on the transmitter?

Checked all props they are tight
All motors seem good but it still won t lift off. When I move controls it just tilts
I even changed the battery
Don t know what to check next
Can you advise
Thanks
