Storm Chaser Sylvester

We're having tornados in Oklahoma today, so I got Sylvester ready to shoot some exciting cinematic tornado footage.

I shot some jpgs for a hyperlapse.

I had it in the air while a storm came with lots of exciting cloud activity. I set white balance, adjusted exposure, but didn't start the video. Dove to my hand in some real bouncy rough wind. Ratz.

Yup. No video of turbulent clouds passing different ways.

Just a few miles west of there, the storm had heavy rotation and funnel clouds, but it fell apart (thankfully) before it got here, south of Coweta Oklahoma.

That's too bad, but I'm glad it didn't get any closer. I've done just the opposite a couple times, powered off Sparkle before stopping the recording. Same result though, no video.
