What Soldering Iron do I need?

Yes, I honestly keep my irons about the same temp unless I am using eutectic on something really heat sensitive. Generally if you have a higher heat you can get on and off a joint faster leaving a smaller HAL. I do like the ability to adjust heat even if I don't use it.

That is for small circuit soldering like PCB, but I you probably want something at least 45w+.

What Soldering Iron do I need?

Well if you are short on money a different tip can do wonders, also technique can come into play, for example a tin the tip of your iron with as much solder as you can without letting it drip, touch it to the area you are soldering and maybe add a little flux if it is not shiny. This will give...

That is a good question. I am not familiar with the laws in the UK , but most of the UK is more than 400' above sea level, so I would ASSUME that is is 400' above ground level. @holtneil lives in the UK and can probably give you a better answer.

    Calibrate Cheerson CX-30W

SMD stands for surface mounted devices. If you can get it replaced then that is best.

    Calibrate Cheerson CX-30W

Sadly a cracked solder joint may not be visible, and bent was referring to the frame, if something were bent to keep the flight controller from being close to level I figured that may be a possible cause. One way to test and fix cracked soldered joints of SMD and other devices is to use an SMD...

Looking to buy a Drone and overwelmed by the choices

Sounds like you are in the market for a brushed quad and rather than looking for a lot longer flight times you might just buy a couple extra battery packs. SYMA x5C is a great starter depending on what you are planning to do. Is this something you are getting to help you get into quads, or...

    Calibrate Cheerson CX-30W

Sounds like a cracked solder joint but I could be wrong. Does anything look bent? And are you calibrating on a level surface when required?
