    Gain settings.

Adjust the attitude gains for stick response. The basic gains are for reactions to environment changes during flight. Most to least aggressive is manual mode, then attitude mode, then gps mode like holtneil stated.

    Flight Controller

You should try a zyx- m holtneil if you have a chance. It is just as easy as the naza to setup and so far is a solid controller for much less :)

    Difference in Battery Brands?

Depends on which brand you are going to go with. These are where I have purchased from before. Turnigy/Zippy http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__86__85__Batteries_Accessories-Li_Poly_All_brands_.html High Sierra http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc/High-Sierra-c628.htm Tattu...

    Flight Controller

Naza is a good controller. I also would recommend the tarot zyx-m. I have been flying on my hex and it seems to be solid, and will save you some money too.

    Difference in Battery Brands?

Personally I have used turnigy, tattu, high sierra, zippy, and glacier. So far I have only lost 2 turnigys, both my fault. One due to a crash, and one by accidentally leaving my voltage monitor connected by accident. I am really liking the high sierra brand, but only time will tell. Just make...

How to pitch/tilt a gimbal with your transmitter

Just like glowingturnip stated under RC Settings in simplebgc, and it should show you the version that is on the board if you get the wrong version. (Take a backup before you start changing settings just to be safe) https://www.basecamelectronics.com/downloads/8bit/

    Telemetry on Tranmitter help

Telemetry is the reporting of flight information back to the radio such as battery voltage, location, flight speed, height, distance, etc... I am guessing modes in the context means show different information according to the mode? What radio is it?

    Return home / GPS help

I think there are several commands and you will have to set, and buy a compatible gps unit for naze32 clone. (I look at doing this in the past, but kept reading that the naze32 gps functioning was not the best) I am not sure on the other boards so hopefully someone else will chime in on those...

    Newbie - Motor Hunting

I cannot find anything on max prop size for that frame. If it is 10 inch props running 800kv on 5000mah 4s would give decent flight times. I run 2216 900kv on my 500, and with a 5000mah 4s I can get about 12 minutes. If you do decide to go with 4s make sure all the electronics can handle 4s...
