    RTF quadrocopter what you suggest?

Control by phone or tablet can be iffy particularly in bright sun or around densely populated areas where you can experience wi-fi issues. Check this one out. It does everything you want and when properly outfitted easily falls within your budget. As a plus they get kudos for customer service. A...

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=952523 This should help you with wiring. Some of it gets a bit technical but is pretty good overall.

It's a start! The SuperX includes the GPS so you're all set. It also has one of the best altimeters and barometers available. You will be very pleased.Well, I'm off riding again. See you in October. I'm going to send you another link. Have fun!

Can't seem to get it off the ground, NEED HELP........

I am afraid it's beyond my skills as well. After the holiday there should be more technically skilled folks available to help. If no one jumps in send a shout out to GJH105775. This sounds like something right up his alley. Don't worry. Someone on the forum will have you an answer.

    What transmitter to use

WHEN HOLTNEIL SPEAKS YOU SHOULD LISTEN. HE'S FORGOTTEN MORE ABOUT QUADS THAN THE REST OF US HAVE LEARNED.:)

    EHang Ghost Drone Review

I agree. Using a smart phone or pad has to be distracting. It forces you to take your eye's of the quad far too much. Good ol' analog control sticks let you keep your eye on the prize. I have trashed more than one quad after looking away for just a second.

    What transmitter to use

You'll need a radio designed for aircraft (not helicopters) with at least 4 but 6 or more channels being preferable. The extra channels allow you to take advantage of the controllers various flight modes and control any accessories like cameras etc. I don't know what your budget is, but the...

    Best reliable flight controller board?

The Orange Rx is a universal receiver as is Lemon. ( see a trend here:cool:) They will work with many Tx brands. They don't work with Graupner, most Futaba and I don't believe they work with Spektrum. If you live near any Hobby shops you should stop in and get the feel of a couple of different...

Two fried motors on my first flight

Regarding 1) and 2); You have to remember that you essentially have 4 nine inch "wings" formed by the spinning propellers. Any breeze will push the quad around. It is up to you as the pilot to control those movements. Part of the learning curve.Unlike stabilize and altitude hold, putting it in...

    FPV Interference Issues (Please help!)

Try moving the FPV Tx to the rear. You can mount it flat on the back of the lower plate with velcro strips/wire ties. Bend the antenna down. It may be you have the FPV antenna and the GPS antenna on the same plane and it could be causing some interference. Plus that will get the Tx away from all...

Mode 1 Cheerson CX20 calibration help

I wish you luck. If this doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. Once you get it calibrated it is a fun to fly quad. It's too bad that all the cheap clones out there are spoiling the reputation of a really good quad.

Need advice and opinions - REPTILE 500 Alien Multi-copter 500mm

Ha ha! I know it sounds like a lot of stuff but it would all fit in a grocery bag. Unless you're a speed guy you can fly in a surprisingly small area. As long as you don't fly over people and houses most parks, schools and athletic fields ( when not in use ) are good locations. I have even...

    Best reliable flight controller board?

Maybe by tomorrow someone else will jump in with some more choices. I tend to stay with top brands and am unfamiliar with some of the other radios available out there. I know there have to be some good ones that will fit your budget.
