    Transmitter Not Responding

Mine did that a few weels ago after I rearranged some stuff. Not sure how it works on baseflight but in librepilot I just re ran the Tx setup wizard and it fixed it

Look at this beautiful piece of equipment

Fatshark would have you believe that you need to buy one of their ridiculously overpriced immersion rc transmitters to work with their goggles, well this little bad boy is 600mw and shares 3 of the 4 bands that the goggles use, and it was only 20 bucks

Looks right, give them a little tug to make sure you don't have a cold solder. Flux makes it much much easier, a Flux coated wire will suck up solder like a candle wick

Here's a few pictures that might help, some of the picture quality is crap due to resizing. The first picture is of an esc. You'll notice there are three wires on one side, which are the wires that connext to your motor. The other side has a red, which is hot, a black, which is ground, and a...

    newbs first build help please

Bec stands for battery eliminator circuit, you can program your esc's to have a low voltage cut, if you bought the programming tool for the esc's that yout have. A ubec is just a different kind of bec, it's supposed to be a little more efficient. The bec is built into your esc, it isn't a...

    newbs first build help please

It should be volts not amps. Your flight controller only takes 5v to run, so the bec takes the voltage from your battery and steps it down to 5v to power your FC. It only needs this from one esc, so you can pull all but the signal wire from the remaining three. I don't have mine pulled

I think he was talking more about a wire harness to power his esc's. I do like that though, might have to pick one up

That's a deans connector. I prefer xt 60 but it doesn't really matter, you just have to make sure that you either get batteries with deans, or wire up a few adapters. Might be good soldering practice

Yes, you'll be running librepilot. You should never really have to solder onto your flight controller, that's what the two extra ports are for. Your four esc's will draw power from the battery, then your flight controller will draw 5v from your esc, and your reciever will pull power from your...

You'll need to be pretty good at soldering to do that, there's a few 3 ways that you'll have to make. That's how I have mine right now.

That power distribution board is way too big, you will need one with I believe 32mm hole spaces to fit any of the mount holes on the frame. You can get them from amazon for like 2 bucks. As for the rubber things I'm not aure, my dad had them laying around at his house so I snatched them.

So I know this is a forum about quadcopters but...

So this thread has been completely derailed, but so far I've gathered that 9 gram servos will work. I have a 2209 1050 kv motor, will that be fine running like a 10 inch prop?
