    Toy quad conversion

So I have two of these: http://www.amazon.com/Holy-Stone-Predator-Helicopter-Quadcopter/dp/B0157IHJMQ And they are great, definitely not as docile for indoor flight as say, a blade inductrix, but I do fly them inside and outside. Very fast and aggressive in high rate mode, so on and so forth...

VTX caught on fire yesterday, anyone know why?

I thought the rp referred to the pin being either male or female. I was getting clear video at about 50-60 yards so I'm assuming I had the right antenna lol

    help the new guy?

I've heard/seen good things about that Hercules frame. If you want all those goodies it's best to stick to around that size, I don't think I could cram one more thing on my 250, between all my flight and fpv electronics

    ??? about lipo batteries

3.7v is kinda like an industry standard for the voltage per cell of a lipo. A fully charged lipo cell is 4.2v (so a fully charged 3 cell, for example, is 12.6v). I generally try not to discharge my 3 cells below 10v, or around 3.3v per cell. 3.7v per cell is a pretty safe place to store them...

    THATS IT, IM DONE

In all reality though, unless you burned one up by not throttling down your motors are fine, just take the bell off of the stator and clean them up. Outrunner motors aren't afraid of a little water

    OMG ITS WAR

The government would never give a communications disrupting rifle to civilians. The two net launchers may be legal, but the only people who will be paranoid enough to drop what I can only image would be thousands on those systems are the exact type of people who would use them for something...

About to buy -- NEED HELP!!

I think something that might help you understand a bit better is that your goggles aren't technically "connected" to the quad. The transmitter sends out a signal, and if you're goggles are on the right channel they will pick up that signal. Also make sure you get a reciever for the goggles...
