The osd is a separate module that is in-between the vtx and the camera on the ac. The osd simply overlays the data on the video from the camera. You will have to have one that is compatible with the flight controller that you are using.

The green light means that it is armed. Did you calibrate your radio, and make sure the channels are properly mapped?

Laws differ with location. Where are you located?

Can you tell which motor or motors are not delivering thrust? Could be a cold solder joint, or loose bullet connection.

My mistake. I missed that these were optos. Sorry for the confusion. Mine are all powered from the pdb, and I am only using the signal wire from the ones that are not delivering the power to the flight controller. Here is a link to the ones I have on my 250. (SBEC: 5v / 1A)...

6 channels will be enough to fly and control a gimbal. You would need more channels if/when you wanted to start controlling other function such as arm with switch, activate leds, etc. I would make a solid investment in a radio since they usually stick around awhile.

Have you actually delivered enough throttle to make it raise into the air? This specific one may take a full or close to full throttle launch.

Cool. I know intel is coming out with some interesting collision avoidance hardware too. There is a demo of the Yuneec Typhoon H flying through trees. Pretty amazing to watch if you can find it. I will try to locate it.
