Sweet!
The upgrade will make the aircraft more stable, and provide more features, but you will have to purchase a v2 pmu to use most of them.
You may have to adjust the gains to your aircraft. Basic are for environment, and atti for stick input.
Something like this would work.

"ordered 12mm carbon tubes but using original bungs fro mounts so a much tighter squeeze (would this increase vibrations?)"
It could. You want the most cushion without compromising stability, and its a fine line. Is there vibration in the video?
Do the channel hack ;)
Here is the file for iOS. Upload to your go apps directory, fire up the app, and then open the HD and select a custom channel with no noise. (usually 20 - 30)
I use fcpx. http://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/
Render to at least Pro Res LT if you have the bandwidth. I always go full ProRes to get the best results. Having 1gig fiber upload helps since the files are 9-13gb once rendered for a minute and a half.
I agree. Most of this hobby is user error.
I have helped a few over there who thought they had defective units, but I have only seen one issue that we could not figure out. (It still could have been user error, or something we were missing since it was over pm)
Oops. Sorry I missed this.
T4-3D is very good for the price, but the Zenmuse H3 or H4 is a little bit quicker to straighten the horizon. Zenmuse is much more expensive though plus you would have to get a dji fc that supports it.
The video above is filmed with the T3-4D...
