Have you calibrated the imu? These are really good flight controllers that should not be behaving like yours is.

A frame will have recommended motor size. Look at the data sheet for the battery cell count, and props that you want to run to figure out the amp draw. Get the esc that will handle the amp draw.

The imu could be stuck. A hard knock will knock it loose. I can't remember the side that it is located on so you will have to search around. I would flash with the v2 firmware as Jackson suggested.

Not sure, but I think you would be happier with Headplays. I had predators, and there is no comparison. Headplays rock...

There are certain functions that you can change on the esc depending on what they are flashed with. I have always used an esc programmer to change the settings on mine so I am not sure if they are supposed to do that when you change settings with the rx.

Have you looked at those Jackson? 21 inch props, and it takes 6 batteries to fly. $1200 for enough batteries for each flight :eek: Ralph has these in stock too ;)

I vote to buy an iron and learn. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, and you will be able to repair all kinds of electronics.
