I was thinking about machining a quad frame out of solid aluminum but I'm not sure it would be any lighter than carbon fiber. If someone would make an aluminum frame lighter and stronger than carbon fiber that might be a good seller.

Oh yeah you'll hear about it but it's going to be at least a month until everything comes in from the slow boat from China. If this works out I'll have THE FASTEST quad on the block for under $200.:cool:

I kinda thought the same however since the meteor frame is the only thing I have so far I'm going to try it. What it lacks in strength it makes up for by being very lightweight so this thing should be a very light quad.

I found a Texas instruments ti-30 calculator in the trash, put new batteries in it works fine. I love free stuff! I told a co-worker we don't use no phone calculators when I got the real thing right here. The on screen keys of a phone calc just don't feel right.
