Having taken the classes twice in ancient history, there is a LOT more to know. Weight & Balance, Navigation, Fuels, Engines, Lots more weather... Something dreadful always happened to derail my plans to get a pilot's license before getting to flying.

This is a mini quad from "Propel." Doesn't cost much but flies quite nicely. No altitude hold or any such as that. Looses and breaks propellers easily, so get yourself a couple "free" sets from their web site. It came from Wal*Mart toy section.
