Hmmm. I am wondering if you could use long standoffs to lower the gimbal. I have used them to lower the gimbal on my 680. I think what you have might cause vibrations in the footage.

Looks good, but not a phantom killer. The camera on some of the phantoms are better than the one he is using to film the video.

The gopro is an excellent camera, but there are better cameras if quality is what you are going for. The phantom 3 standard is on sale at a few places right now for under 400.00.
