new toy, need experiment suggestions (sensitive chemistry scale)

Id go through that manual and see what the calibration procedure is with it..Being that precise of a scale it wouldnt take much for it to not be as accurate as it could be...Being off as much as a simple pubic hair in weight could blow us all up man:eek:..Whats wrong with you.

What's the best drone to start flying with

Ive been beating the crap out of my x5c-1..Done quite a bit of mods and flying it like i stole it and it just keeps on gettin'...I like it so much i bought a BNF model for $23.00 Flying it with the x8c Tx im finding not only improves range past visibility by the naked eye but it also allows...

    SYMA X8C Modifications thread.

Well, i have 4 motor gear assemblies and motors coming also to swap if needed and its not the radio as it still flys the x5 with no issues at all...Maybe my town secretly installed a quad zapper for non registered x8 models..lol

    SYMA X8C Modifications thread.

Well i can honestly say this is the first RTF quad ive really had a problem with..All my other purchases i still havent even had to replace motors on..lol It wont be too bad to repair..im glad its only like a $10.00-$12 board.

    SYMA X8C Modifications thread.

Some bad news to report with the X8C..Took it out for its maiden voyage and it was doing great...Made a hard banked right turn and it goes down on it s own...No visual damage but it appears the flight board took a dump on me. Neither rear motor spins fast enough to lift and the quad just tilts...

    out of range syma x5sc

+1.....cool idea bad execution...its too easy to build a platform over the fcb to mount it all more centered...he doesnt really need the extra weight of the battery either if he would lighten up the quad a bit and just use the flight battery as power to the fpv.

Top 5 Mini RC Quadcopters in 2016

RTH is more less just a reverse....What happens is you set the heading or direction of the quad and if you press RTH it would fly backwards back into your direction...Like moving a toy rc car forward away from you then using reverse to bring it back in the same line of direction...Now if you...

need to upgrade a syma x5c!!!

Yes...the V6 board is the newest board and will bind to the X8C transmitter...Be careful not to fly out so far you cant see how to get it back...the range is exceptional.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

Yea, i wouldnt want to do that extreme of range flying..you dont know if where it goes down if you caused damage to someone or property..I dont want to show up to retrieve my quad or plane with cops and and a ambulance around..hahaha. Im about to head out for work..Have a good day.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

I can get 300m on the Syma x8c TX..modded with a better tx antenna is said to give around 1300 to 1500 ft...1/4 mile is far enough for me..hahaha.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

Yea...the tx signal boosters are 2 watts but that ls enough for over 2 or 3 miles of range...Thats pretty significant range there...Not sure on distance of the 1.2g fpv set ups.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

Yea...i can smell that divorce already..haha...I searched some uhf equipment and it was pretty expensive...saw some in the 3 to $500.00 range as well..Its not cheap...Im sure it can get even more expensive with the fpv end of it.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

Im not sure of the laws with UHF..i think even the 2.4g tx boosters arent really legal to be honest with you..haha...Not sure about the legality of the fpv range stuff.

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

If you're flying high with 5.8g there isnt very many trees and buildings to avoid and the signal can be clear for a much longer distance with the booster..However im not sure in and out of trees for a long distance will work out so well...Whatever you experiment with, i hope it works out for you...

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

The 5.8 booster works the same as the 2.4g TX boosters..it increases signal strength...The tx booster can increase it enough actually that you can take over someone else's 2.4 radio...Its sort of frowned upon to use when flying around others but you can get 3 miles or more depending on the...

    Clearboost 5.8ghz booster

The booster will make the signal stronger and maybe do better in some circumstances but if you are flying in and out deep forest with huge tree trunks and branches and cant see the quad it may not be all that great...Maybe cutting in and out at best. The booster will certainly improve your...

    prop balancing issue.

Just did one more prop and the heavy side was the non letter side again..this one took less tape however. I spun each prop nut centered on the shaft and marked the low side..it never lands in the same spot so im not sure they are that much out of balance.

    prop balancing issue.

*Face palms self...I mean no...The heavy side was the non letter side...the tape was added to the letter side.
