LOL. No explosives. Those are the flight batteries for my hexacopter. They are 8000mHa Lipos from Ready Made RC. I use their batteries on all my builds. Love them! That battery that powers the ground station is under the foam and can't be seen.

no, you shouldn't lose stick control. If you do try switching down to attitude. If that works, great. I have had mine lose GPS signal but always was able to fly without issue. You must train yourself to fly without GPS so your comfortable if the GPS fails.
