Try turning on the i6, holding the bind button, first, then do the quad. That's how I do it.

None of the Symas (and others) ever had an independent switch to activate the camera functions, The 'switch' was part of the toy quad's main board, activated by the TX. Maybe you'll get lucky with this newer version.
