    Snaptain sp510 setup

Hrm yah not sure, make sure you follow the pair remote with drone steps and get the right lights off of the quad... according to manual the quad should always be powered before the controller (apparently controller scans for the quad on startup and will probably fall back into binding mode if it...

    Snaptain sp510 setup

Try this, start the quad up do it's calibration procedure and then as last step try to turn on controller/transmitter and do a full throttle up and down, a lot of the times on the "off the shelf" ones this is a procedure for getting the remote to pair with the quad on first boot (perhaps it lost...

    Binding

Hiya welcome to the forum/hobby. So with binding you can typically get the transmitter bound to the receiver without needing the FC to be involved but you will need to hook up the FC to computer and use betaflight configurator to verify things are working correctly, for some instructions on...

Great deal for Sega Genesis Mini in Walmart

Yah I think only actually legitimate option with those is to buy the ROMs if a company that made/owns the content it is selling or find them on relatively shady websites (this is a thing I stopped doing when in college and Napster/Kazaa was a big thing), or to rip your own, this article covers...

Great deal for Sega Genesis Mini in Walmart

You guys may want to check out retropie or some of the other raspberry pi based emulators they work well for the older platform emulation like atari and nintendo also some sega and other platforms that can work alright, just a lot of digging around to find good ROMs (rips of the cartridge data...

Drone throttles up on its own (real flight not Betaflight)

If your FC supports black box logging suggest turn it on and get a dump of the blackbox logs posted on google drive or directly here if you can so can check out what's happening with the receiver input and gyros etc. when it decides to go full throttle. In general would say double check just...

How to pick the long distance sensor?

There's also now the option of using a regular camera sensor and software to do optical flow analysis to see what direction the camera is drifting and other computer vision techniques (opencv is older open source collection of libraries for image analysis, also lots of machine learning based...

    Flying pipe idea

Yup good stuff @pineapple I wasn't aware those were already developed solutions that DJI offers. Seeing that I'd say kind of two approaches, like pineapple says buy something proprietary that is already getting you 90% of the way to what you're looking for to proof of concept, but then likely...

    Flying pipe idea

Also keep in mind there will be custom development involved in terms of the tracking and landing systems since even with iNav I'm pretty sure you are mostly working with GPS/compass which isn't going to be precise enough for landing directly on a charge pad, something like how the robo vacs work...

    Flying pipe idea

I was looking into some common carrying capacity for bigger size quads but not the "fully industrial" grade yesterday and a big RED 5 4K camera is 10lbs or so from some Googling and is a common thing for them to carry around. If you reduce the weight significantly and go with a smaller pipe and...

    Flying pipe idea

Agree if you ask me if something is possible it's just a matter of is there anything physically stopping it from happening, if that's the question then no nothing stops you from doing this. Follow up question would be is it actually feasible/cost effective? To that the answer is probably no...

Looking for prebuilt longer range quad

Your best bets in my opinion are RaceDayQuads.com or GetFPV.com (if in the US at least). For having someone custom build you will likely need to pay quite a bit more than something that is "off the shelf" with some predetermined set of components and configuration. Quads that are off the shelf...

    Quadcopter crash

If you can't identify any physical damage would bench test with the props off each motor individually to be sure the connection between motor/ESC is working reliably and signal is getting from FC to ESC, from black box logs it appears the receiver input was consistent.

    Quadcopter crash

Make sure your battery wire is totally clear of the props and held up in place well with a zip tie I've had that or antenna get into the props many times (usually on landing or crash but it's happened in flight before as well)

    Quadcopter crash

No worries what you wrote is clear and the black box log is pretty hilarious :D. Was imaging it as watching you take off a little wobbly at first then start flying forward for a bit and then all of a sudden it tumbles :D sorry to laugh at it but was a bit comical to watch and play out in my...

First build, long range intended I'm lost

Agree those motors are probably too small just going on the fact that everyone likes that size for 5" props and 7" props are 2" bigger :D For flight times etc. suggest checking out ecalc.ch it's good for totally custom builds and to get some idea of flight time and thrust to weight etc. free...

    Before i buy help

The list looks overall okay nothing I would call out there as something to run away from. That said I don't see any ESCs unless you mean the Mamba is FC+ESCs stack which makes sense with the price. Only other thing I think is missing is a radio receiver, with the TX16S it is widely compatible...

Nazgul 5 and radiolink r9ds compatibility

Also double check your receiver protocol selection on the configuration tab in betaflight or try a few others and save see if works any better usually it's all or nothing from my limited experience though with regard to protocol selection and receiver hook up... Also maybe dumb question but how...

Nazgul 5 and radiolink r9ds compatibility

Randomly change as in true random or just wrong stick moves the wrong slider value? You may see one channel jumping around somewhat randomly that will be the RSSI channel but if 4 move with stick input then in pretty good shape.
