You need to plug it into a PC as there is no menu 'screen on this tx. Find auxiliaries settings & set ch5 as Aux1 then ch6 as Aux2. Are any of the 2 toggle switches a 3 position switch. If so, setup modes on that switch. I can't find any info on what cable is needed to use for pc.

After doing this you should notice toggling the switches on the tx move the ranges in receiver & modes tabs. You need to make sure that angle & horizon fall within the values for the range of the switch. Angle should be ok but you may have to move the horizon slider to the middle so it lines up.

Is airmode on ? If not then the props should not spin on arming, only when you apply throttle. If after you apply throttle then no the voltage spikes would only affect smaller components really. eg camera vtx maybe the FC. Have you put a capacitor on the lipo pigtail or applied any notch filters.

On this diagram it says serial rx so if yours is same it may work with ibus. Worth a shot. Im just not sure as never used a MWii
