Throttle control just takes a lot of practice. I'm guessing you're flying fpv? You have to constantly be giving it gas and letting off. You do it without even thinking about it after a while. The sims aren't really an accurate recreation of actually flying but the do give you a good starting point.

You'll have to go into betaflight modes tab to set an aux switch for your different modes, angle and horizon. Acro mode is actually default/lack of mode. Velociodrone is my favorite sim.

It depends on how much voltage your electronics can handle and the motor kv also comes into play.

I say build your own. That way you'll always be able to fix it. Just be ready to do a LOT of soldering wires onto boards. The set up and programming the firmware isn't that difficult and there are a ton of videos walking you through the process. Build, fly, crash, repeat!

Yeah they took you for a ride unfortunately. For all the features you want you'll have to spend a little more for something like a mavic mini or similar. I'm not too familiar with those as I build my own. You can actually diy drone build and get all the features you want except follow me mode...

The bugs 3 used to be a great cheap kwad, look into the bugs (3,4,5?) Line could fitv the bill.
