Part time flyer

I'm a hobbyist flyer in the back country so I'm not looking for an expensive drone. Tree impacts are not only possible but highly likely. For a long time I was using the Syma X8C. It was medium sized and the orange ones were the easiest to see when I maxed out their altitude at over 1100 feet, 335 meters. And they were cheap! So if I lost one I could replace it easily. Well, after much use, my current drone has finally died. old wiring, replacing the motors was no help at all. This is where my problem lies. The X8C is completely out of stock and the only ones available are selling for at least double their retail on Ebay. What's a good moderate sized Phantom clone that might have similar specs to my old faithful X8C?
