    ......were much cooler when everything was experimental, I guess no one is really building racing kwads like they used to but here is an old design I built that uses slanted arms that holds the motors in forward angle. I call her "Ole Slanty" lol.

    Yikes and that's with 2 blade props while I was planning on using 3 blade props. Might put this build on hold until I find some lower kv motors. (I only buy components that are cheap, on sale low cost.) Unfortunately my low kv motors are somewhere in the woods after I forgot to take a vtx off...

    The plan is to solder it all together and then throttle it down in cleanflight because those motors are way too high kv for an 8 inch. The question is @wafflejock do you think throttling down to 40-50% in the firmware will make these motors and escs work in an 8 inch frame with 7 inch props?

    Looking for members knowledgeable in solar system i.e. 12v lithium battery, pure sine wave invert etc

    I've ran kerosene and propane heaters indoors many times just have to either open a window or set up a simple exhaust, either way you can only run them for a few minutes at a time. Not ideal but better than freezing your nuts off lol

    0-100 in a split second lol no lie, I actually throttled down the max speed in betaflight to 75%, still managed to blow an esc but for $5 those escs lasted for 100 flights or so. Guess I got my monies worth lol!

    What brand esc? I've tried those cheap escs that come covered in yellow shrink wrap and it'd been hit and miss.

    I'm. no expert but the layman's answer is rx and tx are different from telemetry because the two might cross while simultaneously transmitting and receiving at the same time. You need two different signals. 915mhz gets better penetration though objects for long range and freestyle plus shorter...
