I recently bought a new standard 30a esc put a motor on it & hooked it up to a speed controller tester & it was fine.
So I put it in my wing & when I went to calibrate it in inav it makes a clicking noise, prop turn a few mm but rocks back & forth. So I tried a new motor & same.
Took esc & motor out & back on the speed controller tester & it's OK I even put the 1st motor back on & both OK again. So I put it all back in the wing only to end up with the same problem.
Now if I throw a 20amp multishot quad esc in with same motor it works as should.
I don't wanna a get all the way to my spot & blow an esc on arrival looks like I'll have to chance it though.
Atleast I'll know if my cheap esc can fly a wing.
Anyone had this problem.
