Just got done watching your new video and, as always, is an enjoyment to watch.

I am curious what your settings are for your quad. I noticed that your moves are precise and wondering how you do it.

Advice?? :)

Hey Torc! So sorry didn't see this till now!!!

I fly custom built freestyle quads. So the first question I have is: Do you fly "DJI type cinematic quads" or do you fly "freestyle / race type of quads"?

If so, the most important thing to get precise movements is to adjust your "rates".

If you could share a bit about what kind of quad you have and what you do with it, perhaps I can help you a bit more?

No worries, who wants to be on here when you can be out flying?

I currently fly a brushed SPC Maker 90X (1s &2S) racer. Will move up to a 1s/2S brushless once I get my skills honed (currently running in Acro Trainer.)

I am working on different rates, even making a database of settings from others I find posted online to try out and tweak and when I see flying that I like I reach out to see what their rates are.
Flew rc planes I the 80s , ham radio n3pj,still have lic.but in active, was in Viet nam 68-69,now enjoying quads toy grade.

Sure, just post a thread describing your issue and then reply here with the link. Makes it easier to follow along and gives others the opportunity to help.

My first guess would be that it is related to your BEC or maybe you don't have a BEC(usually built into the ESCs or power distribution board if not separate).

New to the drone World and just wanting to get involved. Want to know the best platforms for learning about drones and the FAA rules!
My Eachine x220 Wizzard flew great for a few months... now it flips out after a short flight time. Black box shows number 3 motor goes to 100 % with sticks input at neutral hover. I replaced motors , esc's but still does the same thing. Is this a Flight controller problem ?

If the blackbox logged that the input for motor 3 went to 100% then yes. Could you create a thread and post the blackbox files? It might be a problem in what channels are indexed or a mixing issue in the settings on the controller.

Once you create a thread can you post the link here to let me know and to remind me?
