XK making some promising moves

Ive been reading up alot on XK models and it seems the XK detect 380 is proving itself to quite a worthy and reliable quad...The XK350 stunt model doing its 3d flying thing and now 2 new releases from XK thats sure to tempt the interest of some.

They sell toy (XK250) and hobby grade models and ive just seen a wonderful new XK251 model with brushless motors at banggood...I have no doubt at this price they will always be sold out...FUTABA S protocol!!!!!!!...300m range!!!!! ..There is also an FPV version coming out.

Well it does look pretty.

But for a few $ more I'd opt for this.
Eachine EC250 Racer Drone With RadioLink 2.4G 9CH AT9

A true hobby grade, great package with a kickass Transmitter (with a quad specific mode that can turn 3 flight modes into 6, among other things) and that can be used for future builds. An actual CC3D that can be tweaked and many readily available non-proprietary parts that can be used for repairs or upgrades.

Just saying. :)

ya the more i read about it the more i go crazy...hoping when i get super comfortable with my u807 ill get a 250, seeing all the videos on youtube i feel like im gonna explode all over the 250 as soon as i see it!

NO like seriously, how is this not the coolest thing on the planet and how come i am only hearing about this after joining this forum????????????

but im glad, cus i had a very sad life and id like to think of this as my slice of happiness, and all the other people i have met in life that went on to have super happy and successful lives at least i can say i have this and they probably wont ever get into drones.

Excuse me - check please, HOW IS THIS NOT THE COOLEST THING ON THE PLANET?????

I mean maybe if ya had a super hot girlfriend, but in the end both would give insane amounts of fun for about 8-12 minutes at a time depending on whether or not you use a camera.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to share quite the same level of enthusiasm for this model.

The X380 is (on paper) a very respectable machine - so much so that I bought one as my first quad. However, the X380-specific FB group I joined seems to report no-end of issues from a raft of different owners, many of whom share experiences eerily similar to mine - flipping, then falling from the sky for no specific reason. And in many instances, at the hands of experienced pilots (not just complete 'newbies' like myself).

I wouldn't get anywhere near 8-10 minutes with a super hot girlfriend.

So tracking shows my radio is near, I'll finally be able to get my 250 in the air. But I've got a feeling the guys in the video have been doing this for a while. I have no preconceptions of anything like this, I've got an extra frame and 2 extra set of arms because there will be carnage.

Sweet glad to hear :D

My tracking just updated too, looks like my u807 is expected to come Saturday but I feel it will come earlier becuaese its coming from California and its 3-7 business days and usually when I order packages from California they come in around 4 days!
 
By the way, the X251 just came out.

Some info:

Im still liking the XK251...Ill maybe wait a bit and see how the reviews go by other owners...Im thinking it will be a good one.
