im new to quads and got an x5c-1... it has been fun and worked well.. recently it refuses to sync with its controller... both have fresh batteries... both appear to be functioning properly but just wont respond to controller... any help will be appreciated.

I had this initially - Make sure the quad is on a flat surface then: -
1 - Put throttle stick in lowest position.
2 - Turn on controller
3 - Turn on quad (lights should be flashing on quad)
4 - Push throttle stick all the way up <beep>, and down <beep>
5 - Wait a few moments and lights on the quad should stop flashing
6 - Take off :)

.. what you wrote is the normal start up routine.. i have done this.. the lights flash.. it beeps.. .but nothing happens.. it seems the quad and controller are not talking to each other.. both are ready to work.. but it just doesnt happen... i suspect an antenna problem or worse yet a circuit board problem.. i'm hoping someone on here has a simple explanation.. thanks for your reply.

Well try turning the quad on first, then the controller.

That's the way Quadcopter 101 always does it.

You can skip ahead to ~3min.
