So I've had this drone and not took it out yet because every-time I attempt to fly it up, it just goes forward.. I have watched multiple videos of the same drone and people flying it, still they all managed to make the drone fly straight up.. while mine continues to just go forward and not up. I have to push the force up all the way for it to boost up into the air.. how come it is doing this? Am I suppose to do something else for it to go up not fly forward?
 
I fly a X5 SC. First thing I would do is check that the props are in the proper position. Second thing I would try is launching it from your hand raised in the air. When you try this you should feel downward thrust.
 
Thanks for the responses and I'm sorry I have to ask but what is the props? :) I am such a noob when it comes to Drones.. sorry :(

The propellers. There are four of them, one on each corner.
Front left spins clockwise
Front right spins counter clockwise
Left rear spins ccw
Right rear spins cw

The raised edge is the leading edge of the prop.
