I had a hard crash and looks like it damaged the openpilot controller, everything worked but when I lifted off the ground it flew to one side and I could do nothing to control. When I tried to reconfigure with the software it would not save, kept getting errors. I ordered a new controller (open pilot) went through the configuration, all is fine, re bound my transmitter (Spektrum DX6), and it will not connect with the copter. Doing the transmitter setup when I get to where you move the controls, nothing happens. If I connect the battery get cheery tone, and nothing will not spin props. It is armed. Any ideas?? Is it possible the receiver and controller were bad? any way to test the receiver, it does light up, no change in lights when moving levers.

Got it figured out, turns out the direction from Open Pilot go through alot of gyrations to prevent you from getting hit by a prop (which should be removed) so I did not have a battery attached during one step which did not configure the receiver, but did not give any indication of the issue. I plan to go through their documentation carefully this weekend, alot to learn.
