would a new set of antennas be a worthy upgrade?

im currently using the stock mushroom antenna on my falcon 250 and the stock wifi router type antenna on my rc832 receiver, thinking of getting some rp-sma clover antennas (thats what i need for both) - would it be a noticeable upgrade though?

right now i notice static if i go behind a tree or something or get too far away, with a nice set of clover antennas would it be able to penetrate objects better and get more range?

which ones should i get?
