Wiring for Heavy Quadcopters

Hey, I am designing a VTOL aircraft which weights 15kg. I have 2 (6S) Lipo batteries which are connected in series to give me 44.4V in total. Maximum current required by the 4 motors will be 260A in total for 5secs most. To provide this current safely, I am not sure what kind of wiring I should use. All the information online is based on small drones which doesn't require more than 100amps in total. So they can use any power distribution boards or Y harnesses or connectors to distribute the current to the ESC's from the battery. For my case, I couldn't find any connectors or power boards which can withstand this high current. So I don't know how I can distribute the current from batteries to 4 ESC safely. I ordered 8AWG wires and 8mm Bullet connectors to make my own Y harness but not sure if it will work. I would highly appreciate any advice. I have uploaded my wiring diagram so you can have a better understanding.

Why not? A few years ago, no PDB wiring harnesses were quite popular.

Here's one being prepped for the addition of the main power leads.

There is also this approach.

I have worked on some pretty hi-power projects (like 3-4 6S batteries, enough to lift a kid) the best way to fix this cheaply and reliably is to re-wire the cells (in the battery) and use direct connections between parallel cells and ESC(s). Using completely different batteries is also helpful (I did it that way in a VTOL about a year back) but that would be troublesome if you have a lot of motors. Also, you can recombine the cells to form smaller batteries for use in smaller projects like I always do.

Thanks, I will follow the setup to make my own. The last approach (image)what kind of plate do you use to solder them?
