Will China Tariffs Raise DJI Prices?

Give our current moronic POTUS' desire to impose tariffs on Chinese imports, should we expect a price increase on DJI products? I am planning on buying a Mavic Platinum Pro but was going to wait for the new product announcements coming soon... now I'm thinking I should pull the trigger now before the prices go up...

Any thoughts?
 
Since the tariffs are for raw material like steel and aluminum I don't think it will effect our quad hobby, but to be on the safe side I'm buying what I want now.
 
It is stupid to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum on China as the main exporters to the U.S. are Canada, Mexico and other countries (who by the way are getting exempt), but my fear is that tariffs will be imposed on manufactured goods from China...
 
Notice how Boeing stock (BA) has been tanking the last three days? It's due to the threat of trade wars - this could be bad news all around. Meanwhile, I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and buy the Mavic Platinum Pro now.
 
You may want to consider putting that money under your mattress because an international trade war will increase the cost of essentials too.
 
Well FWIW we are spoiled and take cheap prices for granted. 25 years ago I paid $585 for a 17" CRT computer monitor.
