Which OSD for best video image quality?

Hi Dave osd is just a unit that plug into the video feed so the feed need to be good to have a good image
I understand that. What I mean is when you plug the video feed into the osd, the image that comes out of the osd is not as good image compared to the video image without osd. The OSD reduces the quality of the image.

Painless likes this one, he has a few vids with the previous version too.

Great informative vid, but he doesn't mention anything about how much the quality of the video image is affected after passing through the OSD, which is all I'm concerned about.
Also, that OSD has a lot more functions than I need. Not looked at the price but I don't want my screen cluttered up with load of writing, I want one that only has two battery inputs, to use one for battery voltage and one for rssi, (I can live with a built in timer as well).
I understand on some OSDs you can turn off the info on the display that you don't want, but I'm not all that great wth computers, programming one or fiddling with the settings would be a nightmare for me!
So I need a simple to use, plug and play kinda thing. So I can just wire it in and it will display just the things I want. (But also have no effect on my video image quality).
