Thanks Rick, Here is the second flight. I think these guys have really got a good product. I haven't had a chance to do much with it but first impressions are fantastic. The wind was blowing pretty stiff again but as you can see from the vid the gimbal made the vid butter smooth.

That is how I calibrate the compass on the hubsan 501S. It works a lot better for me than holding the UAV out and spinning in a circle.

That was very clever, I also liked the hood you made. Looks like you could easily pop in a fresnel lens.

Cheap enough to try, just note if you have to trim it keep the center centered.
