Tested a $9 dollar range extender for the Phantoms. Not bad for 9 bucks

It is hard to complain that I did not get enough of a boost when you take into consideration the price. It did work but it was no miracle product.
 
Yeah, I've got one for my Spark and they do make a difference in range. Down side is it makes your signal much more directional. I really need to have the radio pointed directly at Sparky or it failsafes real easy
 
Since making the video I have done two more tests and both times got nearly a thousand extra feet. So for 9 bucks, I'll take it.
 
Have a link to where you picked this up. I'm not so much concerned about extended range but if it improved my signal in sketchy conditions it would be worth it.
