SymaX5C-1 problem

My wife's Syma seems to lose power very quickly while flying to the degree that it barely lifts of the ground. Even putting a charged battery in it doesn't help. When it is first flown it does alright though...

That's interesting, someone else just recently had the same problem. I don't know if he ever resolved it. You have multiple batteries?

What Jackson said.

They should reach 4.2v fully charged

And....they should "hold" at least to 4.14 over night after you disconnect them from the charger.
If they drop below that too fast, the internal resistance could be too high.

When you say it "loses power very quickly"....could you be more specific? How quickly?

When first flown, how long does it fly properly?

And how long have you had the Syma and how long have you had the batteries?

What charger are you using? Please describe your charger.

Oh...check the voltage on the Transmitter batteries also.
If they get low the X5C will lose connection to the transmitter and go into idle mode

Had the quad a month, have 6_8 batteries charging on cheap unit that came with for of them but they check out charged..
Quad will fly a minute or so then develops power loss...batteries are all new 720 ma except original 500 ma
