SYMA x8g

Yes. Totally legit. I deal with these guys all the time, my friend bought the same camera from Gearbest--good quality.
 
I have bought Syma X8G only few days ago, after reading this review. What I can say for now is mostly positive. I think that's the best drone you can get for ~$150. Highly suggesting it for someone who is getting into world of drones. Best luck!
 
Stormrider, I have read some reviews that say the 8g isn't as stable as the 8c and it's something with the transmitter. If you use a transmitter from the 8c for the 8g it then flies just like the 8c. Did you and your buddy notice any difference in flying the two?
 
I just got my X8G yesterday. Today I'm gonna take it out for her first flight. I did see a review that quadcopter 101 did where he stated the same thing about the transmitter not being as good as the X8c, I did also order the exac transmitter just in case because it is only $14 shipped free to Canada so I thought worst case scenario I will have a backup. At the same time my walkera 2-d gimbal also showed up, I am surprised that there is so many details to learning how to operate it but I am going to do my best anyways. This is a great forum, I love here in everybody else's input.
 
The transmitter is also easily modified for additional range. I will be doing that mod soon and posting results.

They have upgraded the camera it seems, The x8G I saw was just over $112 usd and now has an 8mp camera on it.
 
Hey all
I finally got my X8G airborne I love it. I took the above govern to me on this forum about buying the motors from amazon, I still have not put them on but plan to. I thought I would share a video I did when my son and I went out for a fun flight.
 
Just received an X8G for Christmas this morning. Put it all together and charged the battery. Cannot get it off the ground, it immediately wants to roll over. Anyone have any ideas?
 
Be sure your peeps are balanced (permitting you have a balancer) or re calibrate you transmitter. Both can be found on YouTube.

Merry Christmas. Trust me, when you get it airborne you will love it!

Sounds like a prop problem, are you sure you got them on right? Matching the A on the arm to the A marked prop etc.

I swapped out one of the props and now I can get it in the air! :) Thanks for the response.

Oh I didn't realize there were A and B props, I'll take a look at that. I swapped out a prop earlier in the day and was able to get it in the air. Thanks for the response.
