Syma X8C binding simplification

Hello everyone! My Syma X8C Venture seems to be acting strange. The flashing lights when on headless mode flash fast after a few mins of flight. Is this an indication of a depleted battery? I tested the lipos, they were at about 65%. It was cold outside, about 35 deg. My preparatory procedure is as follows:
Turn on transmitter
Plug in battery turn quad ON
Advance throttle stick to full then back binding occurs
Set to headless top left button push for 3 seconds
Put on High Rate
Both sticks push to low left corner for a few seconds (sets gyro)

Is this the correct sequence?
Thanks for any suggestions! Bill (in Pennsylvania)

No. He's referring to toy grade products which aren't programmable and will just quit at a certain voltage. Whereas "hobby grade" products are programmable to give you the ability to set minimum voltage, give different types of warnings, etc. No shaming here, we all started by flying toys, some of us still do!
