Syma X5HC With 2MP HD Camera

Starting to see some reviews/videos as these (the new Syma X5 HC) are hitting the street. One thing to note that I don't think was mentioned above is that these are shipping with a proprietary battery plug. Search for some vids on You Tube that will show them clearly.

Thinking about getting one of these with the hover, or altitude hold, feature. Anybody have one yet?

This is correct, the plug is propertary. However, with just some quick soldering skills, you can hack off the syma connector and put on a brand new micro losi connector and viola, you can now use generic batteries. Just cut the wires off and splice them together; I've done this before countless times.

Syma X5HC is on clearance now - $44

This is a good deal. It does NOT have the dreaded wind bug. It's a great upgrade from X5C-1.
