Syma X22W

Hello all.

Chrismast gifts this year... 3 Drones, 1 for every male of the family. Looks likes it isn't a woman thing.

I've bought the X22W drone because it'S cheap and has a lot of value for the money. dawn are we having fun with those quads.

Now the problem: i'm unable to use the app (syma go or syma FPV) with them. I'M able to connect with the quad but nothing works afterward and that on all 3 three quads and from differents phones.

I did go somewhere where is no other wifi network but didn't work either.

Any suggestions ?

Get in touch with the manufacturer,
The app mayhave changed.
The app that was in my instructions didn't work & had to use another.
There is that many toys out there now.
It's hard to keep up. Most of my knowledge is with self builds mainly acro 2xx size. We can help with broken gears & a bit of stuff. But it's hard when you ain't got it in front of you. Hopefully someone with the same problem has an answer. Good luck though.

Your best bet is look on YouTube.
I know quadcopters101 will have almost definitely done a review on this & runs through all the stuff.

I've finally found the solution.

The phone needs to have a SD card inserted for the application to work.

Weird stuff !!!!

Thanks to all for your help

My son's Syma X22W won't start up -- the lights don't come on -- after first charging. Any suggestions?

He says that while he did bump it, it was working still until the charge ran out. The battery appears to be charged, showing a brief flash of light at the charger when connected to the mains before going out, to indicate that the batter is charged.

Someone says in an onlinle store review that the batteries can be faulty. I am wondering whether to take a chance on purchasing a couple more batteries.

Get or borrow a cheap multimeter, nothing fancy is needed and check the voltage when it comes off the charger, should be ~4.2V

Hallo. Do you solve your problem? I had problem like your also, please answer how to solve it. Thank you.
I am afraid we had to send it back to amazon. Before I got around to testing the battery, spares arrived but they did not solve the problem.

I did not test the battery voltage but the new quadcopter works fine with both batteries, whereas the quadcopter that we returned did not work with either battery, so it is safe to assume that the problem was with the quadcopter that we returned, not with the first or spare battery.
