Hi all,

well i got sick of making balsa replacement arms, so made a new one verson 2.0 :)

this time its out of plastic electrical conduit now it weighs 795g so slightly heaver

here is the first flight

Hi,
the transmitter is a cheep flysky fs-ct6b with a cc3d flight controller (needs setting up properly never done this before)

motors are 2212 @ 1000kv with 10 inch 4.5 props

second flight after adjusting the cc3d settings
changes to the calibrate on power up turned off fly's better.
just still need to get the servos to work without using the camera gamble any help will be grateful

ps the wind was blowing a bit by the end

I can tell an improvement from your last video :)

Looks like you are flying in rate mode (all manual). Can you set it to angle or horizon mode, and then fly?

What are you using servos for?

hi using some small turnigy tg9 (now fitted in the vid)
looking to have them move a pin/rod via one of the acc twist controls. (looking to release something)

will look into the mode setting. thanks for the info (first quad and first time with the cc3d so playing about with it )

had a bit of vibration on the quad, found out it was the motor arms twisting (u channel was a bit light for the job)
so doubled up the struts now all ok total weight is now 735g without battery

just need the battery now looking at 11.1v 4500mah s3 30c are these any good (how long would flight time be ?)

can anyone give us a rough idea as to its total lift capacity it running 1000kv motors with 10inch 4.5 props...
