First I'm a newbie on here and appologize for asking dumb questions.
We've been Syma fans ever since purchasing a couple S-107g helicopters.
Very nice little units for the money.
But in the quad market , I'm still not very impressed with the quality.
The Syma X5 , I will say , so far seems to be a decent quad.
We bought a couple v222/v959 WL toys quads and sent them back . I felt they
had very poor feedback from the radio and were way too irratic.
We bought a Syma X1 for our nephew and all it does is flip over when you try to
take off.
We also bought a Syma X6 and the the thing shakes and irratically runs the motors
and simply will not fly. From having some Syma radio experience , I unscrewed the back
and found the radio antenna pointing straight down against the circuit board " thats got to be
the problem " BUT , after putting it in the upright position , it still behaved the same.
The remote it came with shows a picture of a helicopter on the screen.
Now ,,,, are we just having bad luck ? I'm not impressed that Syma is using many a WL toys
parts in their quads. Is there a better company out there that is still affordable ?
I'm not going to pay 3-$500 for a quad for a kid.
Thanks a lot for any feedback
