Reflash probs

OK, so I've got the programs downloaded to my laptop to reflash my kk2. When I plug in the dongle to my laptop and then the kk2 the kk2 doesn't light up. It says on the leaflet that it should ! Also, in the drop down menu I'm not sure which one is Stevie's. Any ideas?

This is the most recent one I could find
steveis' kk2.1 V1 18S1 Pro firmware.

Are you using a Spektrum satellite?

All of Steveis FW should be there, don't you have this (his latest) option?

Well, things are getting annoying now. I've taken my laptop to 2 different people now and I still haven't got Stevie's loaded. For some reason I can only get the 32 bit loaded but Stevie's 1.6si pro is only on the 64 bit version. Also, when I plug my flash lead in my kk2 doesn't light up so I'm wondering if the driver hasn't loaded properly. My laptop is 64 bit.:(

the 1.6 type FW are old and not recommended. You should be be looking at the latest Steveis which have the 1.1X format.

KK2.1 V1.19S1 or KK2.1 V1.18S1, these links will take you to the pro versions.

That said they should all show up automatically in the Flashtool.

Win 7 32 bit on my rig.

What OS are you using?
 
Windows 8.1. I can see the 1.9 version on the 64 bit drop down but not on the 32 bit version, but it seems like the laptop isn't communicating with the kk2.
 
I gave up trying to download Stevie's so I bought a new kk2 with Stevie's already flashed. Much better than the original version, and there's more to alter too!
