If it ain't broke, don't fix it??? You kidding?
Was given(for the cost of shipping) a ton of older quad parts and pieces. One is a 250mm QAV clone looking thing. The electrics are all state of the art..............two and a half/3 years ago. I fiddled with the Afro Naze 32(F1) with a no name pdb. Couldn't get it to fly, did all kinds of weird stuff when lifting off, so got a Matek PDB and an SPRacing F3 clone and it flys. Wasn't great but it did alright. So, I got some parts ordered(a bit at a time) Matek combo and new escs..........

Matek F405-OSD with the FCHUB-6S.
This is the frame..........
It currently has DYS BE1806 2300kv motors. I've got one motor that's a little tweaky. And another complete set of the same motors, 2 years old and never used. Their tight(no slop) and turn very smoothly.
Now, my questions.............
Are these ESCs "dshot" capable?? And if so will they support "600"? Or do I have to do a bunch of weird poop before I can use them. Have not been able to find a definite answer and would like to find out with out taking the covering/heatshrink off of them.
Motors..............Not looking to set any speed records, but would like some that are pretty zippy and would work well with the Dal RC Prop Cyclone T5045C 5" . Even though I got that set of brand new motors, they are 2+ years old. So eventually I'll be needing a new set. So I'm looking for some suggestions that won't cost me my first born.............I won't be racing, just freestyling around the farm, playing chicken with my favorite tree and carrying a GoPro 3/4 clone action camera.
So any suggestions are being entertained, though I don't sing(well actually I do, but no one else calls it singing)...............
