Range Extender for Hubsan 501s

Don't think so. But you could make or buy a better antenna. Sometimes just repositionong the rx antenna can get you alot. Most of the toy quads just have the antenna pushed in. If you can make a little pin hole & stand the antenna up it can get you an extra 100'.

Does he mean 5.8ghz cowboy or 2.4ghz Tx. He could mod the rx antenna with a brass tube. Can't think what it's called.
But it's the same as a micro vtx antenna only cut to size for 2.4ghz.
What Tx has the OP got.?

Modding a TX is really simple and effective. I swapped out the B.S. antenna on one of my Q333-B transmitters with one that I got from an old WiFi unit. Didn't cost a penny & the range went from 100m to 184m. You Tube has tons of vids on how to do this. Here's an example:
Here's mine.....

That's part of what's in the kit, but only half the battle. The kit also has the bits to extend the the TX's 5.8ghz (FPV) range.
