Quad Copter Keeps Flipping

I have a quadcopter that was built with new electronics. It keeps on flipping over whenever I try to fly it. I have tried the trim tabs and its balanced properly and nothing has worked. Please let me know if you have any ideas at all, all suggestions help.

One of my RTFs did that and it turned out to be the compass calibration. Gave me no warning, so it was a process of elimination.

Good Luck!

Check props direction.
Check motor order.
If these are OK then try a board reset
Not a gyro calibration, although that can't hurt. I had a similar problem a while back. & a board reset was the only thing that did it. Back up your settings but try a fresh setup first.

Thanks for all the help I’ll try all of that. Appreciate it

Here are the most common causes:
  • Motors plugged in to the wrong FC headers.
  • Motor spinning the wrong direction.
  • Props on the wrong motor.
  • Flight control board mounted facing the wrong direction (e.g. yaw 90 degrees left but the board_align has not been configured to reflect this).
