Q450 build ??

Hi everyone I'm Dewey. I've been building and flying planes for many years and last Xmas I got a small quad that I've been flying around the house. I did some research and I think building my own would be a great way to expand my horizons in the hobby. I went on hobbyking and saw the Q450 and I think it's a good one to start with. I'll tell you what I want it to do and maybe you can tell me what I need to make it happen. I'm interested in putting a gps on it and a camera and when not taking pictures I'd like to do line of sight park flying. Also I would like to have extended flight times of 30 minutes or so. All I've really decided on is the Q450. I don't have a clue what motors or props or anything else I will need.

You will have to get creative to get a 30 minute flight time using a 450. I don't think you will be able to use the larger lower kv motors and larger props for that requirement on a 450 size quad.
